John M. Stephens is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers and a graduate of the interior design program at Delgado Community College.

His community service includes participation in special-event fund-raising activities for the Symphony Chorus of New Orleans, New Orleans Ballet, Junior League of New Orleans, Project Lazarus, AIDSLaw of Louisiana, Kingsley House, the Shakespeare Festival at Tulane University and others.
